Stefano Libelle
Mannheim club culture since the ’90s
Stefano Libelle has been a fixture in the electronic music scene around Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar region since the early 1990s. Following his residency at the legendary Vibration Club near Karlsruhe, he went on to perform at Mannheim’s Milk! as well as at numerous clubs and events throughout the region. Over the years, he has become a name closely associated with southwestern Germany’s club culture.
His DJ travels have also taken him beyond Germany, including to Finland, Norway, Estonia, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Luxembourg. A particular milestone came in 1997, when Paul van Dyk and MFS invited him to the “Wahre Liebe” event at Berlin’s E-Werk during the Love Parade. He has also appeared on radio stations including HR3 Clubnight and Sunshine Live.
Stefano Libelle is also active as a producer. Releases and contributions have appeared through labels and platforms including 8bit, Hertzklopfen and Sonique Records. His productions move between House, Tech House and Techno, reflecting the same combination of groove, club experience and musical heritage that defines his DJ sets.
